Destino
1. Throughout the film the birds symbolize the woman and how she will always find her way to the man. She sends the bird because the birds can fly the longest distance and they can deliver a message to the man of how much the woman loves him. The birds prove to show to the man that the woman will always find her way to the man no matter what happens. The birds show that no matter the distance she will travel far and wide to get back to him. 2. It represents the distance between them and how far apart they are, but their love keeps them close. The Birds show how far she would always go to find him. The birds would always find a way to get the woman and the man back together. They help the woman find the man again and again. 3. From our prior knowledge we know that birds would be messengers back in the olden days. The birds in the film would represent the woman and she would show how much she loved the man. She would send the birds to send a message to the man of how much she really cares about him. The birds would also prove how much she really cared about him because they would send the message that she will always find her way to get back to the man she loves. 4. It might not be what the birds are actually doing, but what they are trying to show or prove. They would always be helping the woman get to the man in different ways. So the message the author was trying to say was that when you love is powerful it makes people strong and gives them hope to believe that they will find their loved ones again no matter the obstacles they will always find a way to get to each other. 5. It shows how the woman always get to the man, but many obstacles get in the way, but they always manage to find a way back to each other. In the end though the woman didn't necessarily was with the man the woman stayed in his heart. In the beginning if the poem there was a bird where the man's heart is and at the there was a hole and something that symbolized the woman who was represented as the bell tower that appeared to be the woman. So it showed that they will always be in each other's heart because their love is deep and strong that nothing can separate them. |

Does age come with wisdom?
Claim: I don’t think that age comes with wisdom. Having wisdom or being wise has to have come with many experiences. It could have also been with obstacles in life that helped them become wiser because they have gotten to learn from them.
Evidence:I think this because there could be a person who is very old and a person who could be very young. The younger person could be more wiser than the older person because the younger person could have experienced more than the older person. I think that wisdom is earned when you go through life changing situations that you eventually learn from. What if the person grew up with hardly anything and had to work their way up to become successful and the older person could have had everything meaning they would have had less of an experience than the younger person.
Reasoning:Therefore age doesn’t come with wisdom because wisdom comes with experiences that a person has had. A younger person and older person could have experienced the same amount of life changing choices and their age would have to do anything with how wiser they are.

Partner Quote Analysis
“Straight ahead of him nobody can go very far “
The author ends page 10 with the line saying, “Straight ahead of him nobody can go very far. “ (page 10) Which may mean maybe because the little prince lives in a small village. Before the chapter ends with this line the little prince says,”That doesn’t matter. Where I live everything is so small!” This evidence connects to when the prince says that “nobody can go very far” because it can explain why the sheep couldn't go very far. In the little prince’s village there might be multiple directions but any pathway you take, it would end up leaving you at the same dead end, which is nowhere. At the beginning of the quote the little prince starts with the words “Straight ahead” meaning one you start your route going forward you can't go back or take any other route without looking back. Sometimes in life some people would try to hold you back down from going far in life but then you swerve through all the negativity and reach/accomplish your goal. Since the prince lives in a small village then there is no looking back it is most likely they would go in circles.
When the prince says “nobody can go very far” he could be talking about how something or someone will always be there to keep you grounded. So that is most likely what the prince was talking about when he says the quote. There really is no place to go because someone most likely the prince knows that the sheep won’t go far because it’s place is to be with the prince. When the pilot told the prince to tie the sheep down the prince was shocked. I guess since he is more younger he doesn’t realize or find the need to tie something down. Kids are more free spirit and free minded. They don’t really pay attention to things going away. So when the prince said those words then he was trying to make the pilot realize that he didn’t need to tie the sheep down because the sheep wouldn’t leave because it has nowhere to go.

What Truths is the little prince learning about himself and his feelings from his quest? We focus on the other character often but he is a major character.
The little prince discovers that there is more to life than the small and minimal objects on his planets. He found out that his flower isn’t unique or rare or special because there are billions more on earth. Finding out his discoveries he feels heartbroken and hurt by this. Over all the fox was the very confusing character who told the little prince that he couldn’t play with him cause he wasn’t tamed. But the little prince comes to realize that he is learning more and more things about the world about the plants and how it is like. The fox shows that even the hardiest of explorers need validation meaning that they someone to guide them and explain to them what things are and what they are used for. The fox helps the little prince realize all the things that he has learned during his journey. The fox is someone who helps his process and clear all the thoughts in his mind because at a young age he is learning so much. When the fox explains what it means to be tamed that makes the little prince realize that he is tamed by his flower or also known as the rose.
When the word tame comes into mind you’d think something that is controlled. But the fox says that if the little prince tames his he becomes unique to the fox and the fox becomes unique to the prince. The fox helps the prince to realize that the rose is unique but just to the prince. The little prince has devoted to his rose is what makes her unique on his own. But when the fox explains to the prince what taming him would be like. The fox tells the little prince that if he does tame him they would share a bond with each other that would make one unique to the other. The little prince would become unique to the fox and the fox would become unique to the little prince. That is when the little prince realizes that the rose is no like the other roses he had seen his rose has become unique to the little prince just as the little prince has become unique to the rose. Even though you have something others have it becomes unique to you because you make it unique and special.

Class Response
The Fox want’s a life where people see him as a harmless animal who is just living his life like everyone else. In the text it says, “But if you tame me it would be as if the sun came to shine on my life.” The fox wants the prince to be able to train him to be controlled and learn to be calm. The fox doesn’t want to be known as wild and dangerous. The me hunt the fox because he hunts the chicken, but the reason that the fox hunts the chicken is because the chicken is food for the fox. It’s not the fox’s fault that he hunts the chicken he needs food to survive and the food near him is a grain field but the fox doesn’t eat grain. In the text the fox tells the little prince, “And look: you see the grain fields down yonder? I do not eat bread. Wheat is no use to me.” The fox wants to prove to the little prince that he is tame able or is able to be trained to be a calm and non-dangerous animal. Through this section of the reading the fox wants to be treated as a normal non harmful animal. The fox explains to the prince that if he tames him the fox and the little prince will share a bond between both of them. The fox begins to explain how with the bond he could identify his footsteps like the sound of music. The color of the wheat that the fox has no interest in eating will remind him of the little princes’ hair because the wheat is golden and the color the little princes’ hair is golden. In my opinion throughout this passage the fox realized that maybe if the little prince tames him he will finally have a friend and someone he could have a special bond with.
